BOOKING POLICY
Thank you for your interest in getting tattooed by BLVCK.BIIRD. Each tattoo is custom and requires time for planning, design, and preparation. Please read the following policies carefully before submitting a request.
CONSULTATIONS ARE REQUIRED
All tattoos must be requested through a consultation before booking a tattoo appointment.
You may choose:
In-person consultation
Virtual consultation
During your consult we will go over placement, sizing, style, and overall vision to make sure we’re a great fit before confirming your tattoo session.
Submitting a request does not guarantee acceptance. BLVCK.BIIRD reserves the right to decline any design request.
HOW TO SUBMIT A TATTOO REQUEST
When submitting your consultation form, please include:
A detailed description of your idea
Inspiration photos (if applicable)
Placement on the body + preferred size
Any important reference details (theme, style, shading, realism vs soft detail, etc.)
Your general availability (days/times)
The more detailed your request is, the smoother your booking process will be.
DEPOSITS
A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your tattoo appointment.
Deposits go toward the total cost of your tattoo
Deposits are required for all sessions
Deposits are non-refundable
Deposits are non-transferable
Your deposit covers reserved appointment time and design preparation.
CANCELLATIONS / RESCHEDULING
All cancellations or reschedule requests must be made with at least 24 hours notice.
Less than 24 hours notice = deposit is forfeited
No-shows = deposit is forfeited
✅ One-Time Reschedule Option:
Clients are allowed to reschedule one time (with at least 24 hours notice) and their deposit will be applied to the new appointment date.
Any additional reschedules may require a new deposit.
SICK POLICY
For the health and safety of everyone in the studio, please do not come to your appointment sick.
If you are feeling unwell or experiencing symptoms (fever, vomiting, active flu/cold symptoms, etc.), it is recommended that you reschedule.
If you reschedule with 24+ hours notice, you may use your one-time reschedule
If you provide less than 24 hours notice, your deposit will be forfeited
LATE POLICY
Please arrive on time. Appointments are scheduled back-to-back.
If you are more than 15 minutes late, you will be rescheduled and your deposit will be forfeited
APPOINTMENT DAY EXPECTATIONS
To get the best results (and have the best experience), please come prepared:
Be well hydrated
Eat a full meal before your appointment
Bring snacks (especially for longer sessions)
Bring headphones/earbuds if you’d like to zone out
Wear comfortable clothing that allows easy access to the tattoo area
It is extremely important to sit as still as possible during your session. Headphones can help you relax and stay steady while BLVCK.BIIRD works.
FULL DAY / HALF DAY SESSIONS
Full-day and half-day sessions are meant to make major progress on larger pieces, but:
Full-day and half-day bookings do not guarantee your tattoo will be completed in that timeframe
Everyone’s skin and placement area responds differently, and breaks may be needed
If additional time is needed:
You may extend the session if time allows (charged at the hourly rate), OR
Book an additional half-day/full-day session, OR
Continue at the hourly rate during a future session
DESIGN PROCESS
Each tattoo is designed custom for your project.
Designs are not sent in advance (unless otherwise discussed)
Small adjustments can be made on appointment day
Significant changes may require rescheduling and may require a new deposit
FORMS + HEALTH DISCLOSURE
All required forms must be completed before your appointment.
Clients must disclose any medical conditions, medications, allergies, or health concerns that could affect tattooing or healing.
BLVCK.BIIRD reserves the right to refuse service if it is not safe to tattoo.
AGE REQUIREMENT
Clients must be 18+ with a valid government-issued photo ID. No exceptions.
FINAL NOTE
Please respect the time, energy, and skill that goes into your tattoo. Your appointment time is reserved specifically for you, and preparation begins well before you arrive.
